AirFi Deployed Across Entire EasyJet Fleet

EasyJet have deployed AirFi across their entire fleet of 327 aircraft.

AirFi is a streaming solution for aircraft which will allow shopping and streaming at high altitude.
This means that you will be able to have entertainment while on your journey as well as shop from your seat!

EasyJet trialled the service on a small amount of aircraft and were happy with the results so they now added AirFi to the rest of their fleet.

AirFi provides access to “a customised wireless engagement portal enabling passengers to access games, journey-specific content and airline information, plus browse inflight retail offerings using their own mobile phones, tablet or laptops”.

AirFi doesn’t need aircraft to be taken out of service to be upgraded. It is quick and easy to install and users don’t need to install any special apps to use it.
Any airline could install it and add lots of entertainment and shopping options for users!

I am sure many of us have been on those budget flights with no entertainment. For a short time it is fine, but after a while it can get a little boring, especially if you have no other forms of entertainment or can’t fall asleep for your flight.

Depending on what features are available for entertainment, this could mean that you might be able to kill time watching or listening to something on your own device.

If you wish to know more about AirFi, check out their website which also shows other airlines that have AirFi.
